OPERATION FREEDOM BIRD

Description

Operation Freedom Bird, is a non-profit, providing a unique Healing Journey & therapeutic program aimed at helping combat veterans, from all wars, continue the process to heal from their symptoms of PTSD and unresolved grief/loss. The four day journey in DC provides an opportunity to share their experiences, and pay tribute to their fallen comrades-in-arms in a supportive environment of fellow Veterans and concerned counselors. Our veterans use their experience with Operation Freedom Bird as a platform to continue their healing. Family members and those in support see relationships and wellness improve, and the community benefits because a healthy veteran is one of our Nation’s greatest assets.
