Mission Statement

The mission of CFF Productions is to enrich the regional cultural community by creating and managing an international film event, to be named the Cincinnati Film Festival. During this event, CFF Productions will foster participating independent filmmakers locally, regionally, nationally and internationally with educational workshops, a venue to screen their work to a larger audience and opportunities to expand their film into a business.

Description

Filmmakers are collaborative artists that deserve support. CFF Productions intends to fulfill this mission by exhibiting projects through the annual event, curated invited films and partnered programming, awarding selected films for their achievements, and other year-round programming, such as the international filmmaking competition, the 48 Hour Film Project in Cincinnati, and provides after-school youth outreach programming. CFF also intends to expand its revenue through a cinema space that will become a venue for the CFF’s festival event and showcase films year round. and develop other filmmaking related ideas to increase its sustainability. To that end, CFF Productions also will support our regional artisan filmmakers by offering fiscal sponsorship and grant services. Our goal is to show film as a collaborative art and introduce the art of film to Cincinnati audiences and welcome filmmakers from all over the world to our city.
