Mission Statement

Our mission is to save threatened, abused, or mistreated horses, from slaughter and extinction. By rescuing, providing sanctuary, and gentling we will adopt the horses to proper and loving homes or integrate them into future equine therapy programs serving the active duty and discharged military warriors who struggle with Post-Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Description

Welcome to Wild Spirit Rescue, a 501c(3) nonprofit horse rescue, that is working hard to save and help as many horses as possible. There are many horse who are neglected, unloved, and facing slaughter and who are looking to people to give them a second chance and fight for them. Wild Spirit is here to speak up for them and help them by giving these horses a second chance at a happy life full of love. Horses have so much to offer than just being horses: they are healers and natural teachers, who can help us in our everyday lives.
