Evercare™ Hospice & Palliative Care, we provide compassionate care for those facing end-of-life issues and personal support to their families. Because patients prefer the comfort of familiar surroundings, we provide care wherever patients reside, whether in a private home, a nursing home, an assisted living facility or other in-patient setting.

We have volunteer opportunities in both the Dayton and Cincinnati surrounding areas. Or you may work as a volunteer from your own home!

What is an Evercare Hospice Volunteer? Evercare Hospice has a special appreciation for those who give of themselves by serving as volunteers. Volunteers are indispensable to the patients and families we serve. Volunteers are key members of our hospice care team. Volunteers help make a difference by assisting patients and their families in a variety of ways, including: Visiting with and keeping patients company. Some activities include reminiscing, life review, and looking through family photographs. Providing grief and bereavement support Keeping the patient environment clean, comfortable and inviting Volunteers can also support hospice services behind the scenes by: Making personal items in your own home that bring comfort to patients (such as prayer shawls). Sharing the hospice story with the community Assisting in administrative and clerical tasks Organizing special events
