Mission Statement

At HPV Awakening Inc. we are dedicated to educating the general public about HPV.


It is our duty to provide emotional support for those diagnosed and living with this life altering condition, as well as for the loved ones that may have questions about HPV.

We feel it is the public’s fundamental right to be educated about HPV and have access to correct information, treatment, and prevention options regardless of people’s status, sexual orientation, self-identification, religious background, financial situation, or corrections history.

Description

HPV Awakening has taken part in 100’s of health fairs throughout the Miami-Dade and Broward county. We have partnerships with Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando, the Miami Dade County Health department, Miami Dade County Public Schools, Healthy Teen Expos, Homestead Correction Facility- Women’s Transition Program, Miami Dade Juvenile detention Center, Anime Festival Orlando, and several other Community Based Organizations. HPV Awakening has also taken part in various outreach opportunities throughout the state.

We currently teach sexual heath and self empowerment at the Women's correctional facility transition program, Miami-Dade Juvenile detention center, at local schools, churches, and businesses.

We also distribure thousands of condoms throughout the county.
