We offer therapeutic riding and other equine-related activities to individuals with physical and/or emotional disabilities, as well as youth-at-risk. Whether on horseback, or playing ground games, these activities assist healing and physical development, stimulate learning, and build confidence and self-esteem. All lessons are planned and supervised by a NARHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor.
Specific One Step Closer equine related activities include:
- Grooming and horse care
- Therapeutic riding lessons
- Ground lessons
- Equine psychology and behavioral instruction
- Natural Horsemanship training
One Step Closer is a center member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, and a 501c non-profit organization serving the county of Santa Clara, California.
