We are professionals committed to the provision of accessible community mental health services. As such, the vision of CAPE is to bring together the best of innovative training programs, existing neighborhood resources, and available non-profit support structures. With these, we can rise to the challenge of providing state licensed professional mental health services to communities with limited resources.

We believe the best delivery of these services comes from highly qualified, culturally-responsive, and ethically trained professionals operating within the guidelines of our professions' best practices. These best practices are informed by continuous empirically-based research subjected to scrutiny by our peers and our associated local and global partners.

CAPE provides the mental health professionals and programming while our partners provide the physical locations for counseling and administrative space. We have signed several partnership agreements , allowing us to provide a multitude of services at their sites. We will continue to develop partnerships to support and expand existing programs, and provide new safety nets for at-risk communities.

ALPHA Research Institute (ARI) is the research and publication division of CAPE. The ARI program is dedicated to psychological and interdisciplinary research in forensic psychology and public policies related to education, social, and counseling services provided to adjudicated and at-risk populations. Evidence-based practices are the cornerstone of effective treatment, as well as being vital to understanding the issues afflicting the communities we serve.
