Memory Bears Memory Bears are made in remembrance of a loved one; created out of the clothing of the person who has passed. In making a memory bear, old clothes are transformed into a huggable and comforting bear. These bears are then returned to the family with the intention of providing comfort, connection, and solace to those in grief. Memory Bears are treasured by bereaved spouses, children, grandchildren, and friends. Are you crafty with a sewing machine? Do you have experience making teddy bears? Are you willing to donate your time and skills to bereaved families in the community? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out with interest or any questions you may have. Thank you!
