Mission Statement

The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."

Description

The American Heart Association would not be successful in its mission if it weren't for volunteers. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We continuously recruit new volunteers throughout the year for specific events and ongoing office work.

Whether you are retired, a stay-at-home parent, a high school or college student looking for volunteer credits, or just have the free time and want to make a difference, contact the American Heart Association for more information about volunteer opportunities. You will be glad you did!

Some of the areas in which we need volunteers include:

  • Logisitics Planning
  • Day of Event Volunteers
  • Office Work
  • Community Events
  • Executive Leadership

The American Heart Association - Triad serves Forsyth and Guilford Counties. For more information about volunteering, please contact the local Greensboro office at (804) 924-2202.
