Mission Statement

The purpose of ACCESS (Achieving College and Career Enrichment Skills for Success) is to provide educational and supportive services to middle and high school students in order to prepare them for college and to pursue a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. We are a 501 c 3 nonprofit and our students are minority, often low income, or will be a first generation college student. Our objective is to give students and parents support, provided resources, opportunities, programs and activities related to STEM careers that will motivate and encourage our students to pursue a STEM related degree program. We have been in existence since 2005 and comprised of parents, volunteers, informal educators, pre-service teachers, and community leaders who are passionate about preparing our students for 21 st century careers and opportunities in hopes that they will become part of the highly skilled workforce
