Mission Statement

The goal of AML is to provide young Latinas the opportunity to obtain information about college and careers and to inspire them to follow their dreams and plan for their futures.

Description

More than 1,200 Latinas, ages 14 to 21, throughout Los Angeles County are expected to attend. Mothers and female relatives are invited and encouraged to accompany their teen(s). Professional Latina mentors are also encouraged to attend with their students

I have attended this conference twice with my Spanish class from Verdugo Hills H.S.I would recommend my friends or anyone to attend the Latina Conference because it inspires kids to take a step forward in their life. They reach our hearts and they can relate to some kids' situation. If one sees that someone who came from the same situation we have is able to reach their goals and become successful, it can open our eyes to realize that we can also do it. SI SE PUEDE!
