Mission Statement

Cherry Health is committed to providing the highest quality and most effective primary health care services to people of all economic levels, with a special sensitivity to the needs of economically disadvantaged people of diverse cultural backgrounds. Our holistic care will meet the physical and behavioral health needs of those we serve by removing barriers to healthcare and promoting prevention, personal responsibility, interdisciplinary treatment, health education and collaboration with other community partners.

Description

Cherry Health is a not-for-profit organization offering comprehensive health services to low-income children and families. Established in 1988, Cherry Health has grown quickly. Since then, we have added a new program site every one to two years. This growth has allowed us to service more in the community and offer more expansive services. Cherry Street Health Services, Touchstone innovare and Proaction Behavioral Health Alliance merged effective October 1st 2011, creating the 'new' Cherry Health- integrating and expanding services with over 25 sites and services around the State. All Touchstone and Proaction programs remain and will be enhanced by the services added as a part of Cherry Street. We are now the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Michigan. We strive to provide continuous quality care for children and adults in our community.
