Division of Adult Parole, Community Corrections and Youthful Offender System (YOS) are looking for volunteers/life coaches to assist offenders released on parole successfully reenter into the community. There are many different capacities in which volunteers are needed. Life coaches are needed for our YOS offenders in restorative justice process of "Circles of Support."
Mission Statement
The mission of the Community Based Volunteer Program is to develop and promote citizen and faith/community based organization involvement in offender programming. The program assists in providing positive interaction through direct/indirectservice involvement to enhance community aftercare programs, with an ultimate focus of reducing recidivism.
