Dignity’s mission is to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty that confronts low-income families and individuals in the City of Philadelphia . We provide safe, quality affordable housing, promote self-sufficiency, and create opportunities beyond expectations.

Description

Dignity provides housing and comprehensive supportive services to help homeless individuals and families gain the skills and resources they need to be able to move toward self-sufficient living.

Since 1988, over 4,100 homeless families and individuals have been served by Dignity. Current tenant heads of households residing at Dignity Housing are working on self-sufficiency goals; children and teens are improving their study habits and grades; a number of adults are pursing higher education objectives in trade schools and colleges/universities.
