Are you passionate about music? Are you looking to give back to the community and share your talent? We've got a volunteer opportunity for you here at Emerald Coast Hospice! Share your musical abilities with hospice patients and brighten up their days! Any instrument you have is welcome as long as it is portable so you can take it with you to see patients. Depending on facility need and also your preference, you may play to groups of patients or one-on-one in patient rooms. Can be individual or groups of musical volunteers (permitted group size will vary on facility policies). We can't wait to meet you! Is your pet a licensed therapy animal?! Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Emerald Coast Hospice is looking for therapy animals to brighten the day of our hospice patients in their homes (and possibly facilities depending on restrictions) within Santa Rosa and Northern Escambia County. We are seeking a handful of amazing Volunteers to make special projects for our patients. We have a few ideas, but are always looking for others. For example, lap blankets for patients in facilities, hankerchief dolls and busy blankets for Alzheimers patients, or a teddy bear made from the clothing of a loved one who has recently passed away. The possibilities are endless. If you knit, crochet, weave, or sew, we can certainly use your talent to brighten the lives of others. We can't wait to hear what you have in mind.
