I have been volunteering with Bristol (formerly Suncrest) Hospice as a bedside companion and musician since 2019 and the people there are terrific. The work has been extremely rewarding.

I have been volunteering with Suncrest Hospice for a few months now and am LOVING it. It is an extremely rewarding volunteer opportunity to give back to those that have lived a long full life who now look forward to your weekly visit. The staff at Suncrest has been amazing and the training is phenomenal. Looking forward to making many more lasting memories.

Volunteering with Suncrest has been amazing. I feel supported and appreciated. They offer in depth training and continuing education. There offer a varieties of times and options for volunteering, training and education. Suncrest is a rewarding and fulfilling place to volunteer.

I've volunteered in several Hospices over many years before coming to Suncrest. My experiences at Suncrest have clearly been more gratifying and supportive than my experiences elsewhere. The training was excellent,and met me where I was with what I needed. All the staff I've met have been caring and competent people. In addition, the patients and families I've worked with have all been positive about Suncrest Hospice. Patti, the Volunteer Coordinator, is very focused on matching me with the kind of volunteering I want to do and with patients I'd most like to work with. She is very responsive, supportive, encouraging, and appreciative.

I believe in the mission of this organization and have seen the benefits of good hospice care so I decided to become a volunteer. Suncrest Hospice provided excellent training and support for volunteering as a visitor to hospice patients. I not only learned about many services Suncrest provides but had specific training in being a one on one volunteer so that I felt confident when I made my first patient visit. Suncrest offers constant support for volunteers, so much so that the volunteer coordinator offered to go along on the first visit. This opportunity has been an extremely rewarding experience. When I walk into my patient's room and a big smile comes on her face, I know I am making a difference to her. That says it all.
