Mission Statement

West Jordan Youth Theatre (WJYT) is a community theatrical group operating under the auspices of the West Jordan Arts Council. It is WJYT's mission that local youth have access to performing arts in an environment that harbors learning, improvement and confidence. WJYT seeks to inspire an entertaining culture by displaying the talents and efforts of the younger members of our community.

Description

WJYT currently produces 3 productions per year and get involved in several community events as a vendor or sponsor.

Our past productions include Fairy Tales and Fun, Rumplestiltskin, Who's Haunting the Old Rock Church? and The Dragon Queen.

WJYT is a great organization that helps kids grow as actors and people. It's a great way to meet new friends and have fun. The directors are great, and they admit the shows are proudly amateur. The people there care about you as a person and not just an actor.
