Mission Statement
American Red Cross Blood Services provides lifesaving blood components and services to patients in the areas we serve. We rely on a motivated community of volunteer donors to serve the American public through their blood donations and their service. We also rely on a talented, committed paid staff to anticipate hospital customer needs and ensure that they have an ample supply of low-cost and the safest possible blood components and services available in the world.
