The La Habra Depot Theatre is an all volunteer, non-profit community theatre that has been providing quality, live stage productions continuously since 1976. We produce two youth productions each summer. We are the only community theatre in Southern California that does not charge children to participate in our shows, thereby providing children of economically disadvantaged families access to theatre.
We also produce 4 general musicals, comedies and dramas per year.
Mission Statement
Mission Statement: The Depot Theatre of La Habra is organized to educate, develop, and encourage community support of, and an interest in cultural and performing arts, and to provide cultural enrichment for the benefit of the citizens and community of La Habra, North Orange County, and East Los Angeles County. The Depot Theatre of La Habra will provide an opportunity for citizens to participate in theatrical productions and provide a well-rounded background in Theatre arts for the citizens of La Habra and surrounding communities.
In order to carry out this mission, and specifically to more fully serve the youth of the community, the Depot Theatre would like to increase the opportunities of youth by operating a youth board as well as produce at least two youth productions per season at no cost to participating children.
