Community Hospital Long Beach has served the local and surrounding communities since 1924. Our beautiful Spanish style building is on the list of Long Beach Historic Landmarks and is located adjacent to the Traffic Circle in East Long Beach.
On April 29, 2011, Community Hospital became part of the Memorial Medical Hospital family.
Community Hospital boasts a state of the art cancer center, as well as a surgical weight-loss program. Over 20,000 patients are treated each year inthe hospital's emergency department.
Community Hospital Long Beach has a active and well-regarded volunteer program. Volunteers work side-by side with staff and perform many varied duties. Hours and assignments are flexible and new programs to utilize volunteer services are being developed with the input of staff and volunteers.
*Please note: we do not accept volunteers seeking to complete court ordered community service hours.
