ARHA envisions Alexandria with a range of affordable housing options that provide residents with a springboard to increase levels of prosperity and an improved quality of life. ARHA envisions itself as a viable and capable partner with its residents, the City, the private sector and the community in the preservation and creation of sustainable neighborhoods. The Residents and Community Services department of the agency serves to provide a wide array of self-sufficiency programs and initiatives for residents, and develop meaningful partnerships, public and private, to advance the goal of giving low to moderate income residents of all ages an opportunity to forge a path of success.
