Mission Statement

Kia Kidz - Martial Arts Center for Students with Special Needs, Inc. is a non-profit community based organization dedicated to educate the community about acceptance of children, teens, adults with special needs by providing martial art lessons, inclusion classes, workshops for parents, creating inclusion martial arts tournaments, providing students with possibilities to attend demonstrations, expositions and tournaments. Through the mission of Martial Arts Center for Students with Special Needs, Inc. we are committed to involve high school students from the community to discover volunteer opportunities, build their leadership skills by helping one student at a time.

Description

Kia Kidz provides:

daily martial arts therapies/tutoring;

daily martial arts classes Monday to Sunday to students of different abilities;

summer/winter/spring/teacher planning day camps;

community demonstrations and fieldtrips;

parents trainings;

self-defense classes;

classes in private inclusion schools;

weapon training.
