Description

New Beginning Animal Rescue, Inc., formerly known as NYC’s Top Dog, is a non-profit organization and animal shelter in Bronx, NY, that prides itself in its dedicated to pet adoption and its "no-kill" policy. The organization is the only one that exists in the Bronx and is volunteer-based. The shelter takes in unwanted, abandoned, abused, and stray animals, and finds suitable homes for each of them. The shelter also helps better the community with programs that help the homeless, troubled teens, and young students.

Rescue work is an ongoing process with flexible opportunities to fit your schedule. Even if dog walking is not a possibility there is laundry to wash and animals to feed. There is also space to give small dogs / cats socialization and TLC.
