Description

In addition to providing two unforgettable days each year where words and imagination truly come to life, the Tucson Festival of Books also supports literacy programs in Tucson and Southern Arizona. Since its launch in 2009, the Festival has contributed $1,050,000 to local literacy programs.

"Giving back to promote literacy is the real success of the festival," said Bill Viner, chief executive officer of Pepper Viner Homes and one of the festival's founders. "Literacy is the foundation of building a strong, vibrant community, and the Tucson Festival of Books is proud to play a role in ensuring vital literacy programs are available."
