Mission Statement

Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC) is an independent, nonprofit organization that is run completely by volunteers. The board is comprised of young men and women who have either lost or witnessed a loved one fighting cancer. Our organization is focused on raising funds for local research and support organizations in North Texas, using our member base to increase awareness of volunteer organizations and helping to educate our community on cancer research.

Description

The 2015 Young Texans RACE Against Cancer is YTAC’s inaugural 5K, 10K and Family Fun
Walk/Run for runners of all ages and abilities. The USATF certified 5K/10K course winds through the
streets and trails of the exciting new Trinity Groves district at the foot of the picturesque Margaret
Hunt Hill Bridge. Participants are able to join in by registering at www.YTRAC.org, starting a
fundraising team of family, friends and co-workers or donate to Team YTAC to help reach their goal,
or becoming one of our official race sponsors. This year's beneficiary is Camp iHope, which is a
specialized summer camp developed by Medical City Children’s Hospital in 2011.
