I did not like this place at all. "We are a friendly group of people" that is a lie. some of them are nice, but some are very rude. they don't treat me and my group with respect. hated it there. the lady didn't explain t very well to us and she was very mean. the 5 star comment is probably from a person that works there. i wished i listened to the that one star comment.

Some of the people at the Foster Care Auxiliary were very friendly, but there were others that were mean and horrid and didn't explain what to do properly and then later yelled at me and my group. One lady was very cruel and yelled at my group when she didn't even tell us anything to do properly. She was very mean and my group wasn't treated with respect. I hated it there and I recommend no one come to help

Volunteering with the Foster Care Auxiliary of Orange County Thrift Store was a rewarding experience. It was not only great to work alongside the friendly employees who had nothing but great things to say, but also great to know that our club was doing something good. The proceeds of the store go to enhancing the lives of foster children and the items of the store are donated. In fact, one volunteer was moved to purchase several quality books from the store. I have been told that a truck of donations comes every Tuesday and Saturday and that those are the days that help is needed most. So, don't hesitate to stop by and help on not only those days, but any day the store is open because it is a rewarding place to help out.

Our club volunteered today, and the way most of our members were treated was absolutely unacceptable. We are volunteering out of our own time and good deed, but we did not appreciate how we were treated there. If you enjoy getting pushed around while the person commanding you is sitting on a table and puffing smoke at your face, this is the perfect event for you.
