Women in Transition Re-entry Project

I volunteered as a workshop facilitator and it was an amazing experience to not only begin my healing journey but also to share in the women's journeys as well. Ms. Lisa James is an excellent director who is incredibly kind, warm, compassionate, and dedicated to helping women. I am grateful for Ms. James because she has the ability to see gifts in people and she gave me the opportunity to share my knowledge and gifts to the workshop participants. This organization gives women the platform to share ideas and resources. I can see the light go off during the discussions because everyone is so inspired. Women in Transition is a safe space where people really come together in healing and love. I have seen women come in shy and reserved and then blossom with confidence. I am proud of the work that Women in Transition has done and will continue to do because I wholeheartedly believe in Ms. James' vision and the mission of Women in Transition.

I have been volunteering with this organization for about a year now and I truly love the passion they have for the community as a whole and they make a lasting impact on every woman and child that the organization works with. I have volunteered in several areas including the office, workshop facilitator, providing assistance with in all aspects of helping the women. I will continue to work with Women In Transition Re-Entry Project Inc. because I believe in their mission and I know first hand the great work they are doing in the community. Thank You! Keep doing what you are doing it is much needed!

Giving is our nature and it comes from a genuine desire to make a difference. What we do speaks volumes in the evidence and outcomes of our work.
