Mission Statement

The mission of Epiphany Center is to strengthen family life through programs faithful to the beliefs of the Catholic Church, rooted in Judeo-Christian values and the tradition of service of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. Our programs strive to improve the parent-child relationship, reduce parental stress, and improve developmental outcomes for children so that they become healthy, productive individuals who make positive contributions to their communities.

Description

Residential Recovery provides residential drug treatment at two sites for women and their children up to three years of age. This program offers support in parenting, independent living skills, household management, positive communication skills, and building a clean and sober network in the community.

Parent-Child Center is a licensed center for children newborn to 3 years of age and provides early intervention for prenatal drug exposure and other risk factors. Children receive developmental, physical, and occupational therapy assessments. Parents receive parenting support and instruction in group and individual sessions.

Pediatric Clinic provides well baby checks, immunizations, sick care, growth monitoring, and health education to Epiphany families and former clients. Staffed by a pediatrician and registered nurse, it is a satellite clinic of San Francisco General Hospital.

Family Treatment offers individual and family therapy for children and teens to age 21 who are experiencing stress due to family disruption, child reunification following removal from the home, and other traumatic situations.

In-Home Services provides in-home parenting support services for at-risk families with a child newborn to 5 years of age. Family Support Specialists provide home-based interventions utilizing an evidence-based model called SafeCare that helps diminish risk factors, stabilizes family functioning, and prevents child removal from the home.
