Fresh Start of Indiana, Inc.
We offer our Fresh Start clients long-term transitional support services (all free of charge) such as Furniture, Household Items, and Clothing, Food Assistance, Employment Assistance, Limited Transportation Assistance and Donated Used Vehicles, Computer Skills Training, Holiday Assistance,Informal Social Events, Financiial Education Workshops, Case management and mentoring. We service clients once they make the decision to leave their abusers and clients can stay in our program for up to three years. We are a "hand-up" program, promoting self-sufficiency - free from the public welfare system. We advocate community involvement. We are a flexible program offering caring assistance to our "neighbors in need". Founded in January, 1997 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the State of Indiana, Fresh Start of Indiana, Inc. (formerly, Fresh Start of Indianapolis) is growing rapidly and has gained credibility and strength in the community. Our award-winning, caring approach has earned the respect of our clients, service providers and the Indiana communities.
It is our mission to assist domestic violence survivors and their children as they break free in their quest towards a non-violent, productive and self-sufficient life.
