Mission Statement
ISP was formed in an effort to:
Awareness & Prevention- the general population, community leaders, social workers, mental health professionals, police, military and world leaders on suicide awareness and its prevention FREE through the internet, classes, workshops and lectures.
We have trained thousands of U.S. Army troops that went to Iraq and Afghanistan.
We conducted interventions, workshops and public awareness campaigns across America, Canada, and Africa.
We responded to hundreds of requests for training and information about suicide awareness and its prevention programs.
Providing Emergency Crisis Response post-suicide family support to survivors of a suicide that are unable to afford cleanup costs, counseling, funeral expenses, temporary housing, and other costs that may be associated with the loss of the household breadwinner (not to exceed $10,000.00 per incident).
We receive 5 to 8 requests for family support daily, unfortunately we can only help when our limited resources allow. On average, the cost is about $1,500.00 to have a hazmat team clean a suicide scene. 89 people a day commit suicide in the United States. If we don't pay for the suicide scene cleanup, the family must do it themselves.
We refer hundreds to counselors around the world. A very time consuming aspect of suicide prevention but, it is necessary to reduce future suicides. | When a suicide happens |
Providing all of these services is essential to reduce the need for other social services regularly associated with caring for families that maybe displaced due to the loss of a breadwinner, mental health issues that may arise after witnessing the carnage often associated with suicide and to break the chain of suicide.

Those that are close to someone that commits suicide are seven times more likely to later on in life attempt a suicide as a way to deal with a difficult life issue. Generally these individuals are not aware of the need to seek professional help when dealing with a tragedy of this magnitude and through this organizations effort the goal is to reduce the national and international suicide rate.
PLEASE SUPPORT ISP, THE ONLY EMERGENCY CRISIS RESPONSE POST-SUICIDE FAMILY SUPPORT THAT PAYS FOR SUICIDE SCENE CLEANUP.
