I find volunteering at the food shelf here to be rewarding and invigorating: You get to stay active while directly helping members of the community. I hope to fit more shifts there or at the Interfaith thrift store into my schedule in the future!

I participate in IOCP's holiday gift program. It's a great way to help out and make a family's holidays brighter! The organization makes it easy to join in and since my extended family doesn't exchange many gifts anymore, it's nice to do some shopping for others.
