Help support all of IOCP's client centered programs by volunteering in Resale Select. Resale volunteers: Support programs run out of the store to provide clients with basic clothing and household items and Help raise revenue for the store which supports all programs and services provided by IOCP Join us to explore what it's like to be a part of our amazing Resale volunteer team - no training or experience needed! Store Support volunteers help to keep our store staffed, open, stocked, and organized. They serve in a variety of areas depending on the needs of the store on any given day. We strive to have a welcome environment and we ask all volunteers come with a pleasant and cheerful rapport, respect, attentiveness, responsiveness, courtesy and willingness/ability to work as part of a collaborative team. Volunteers can expect to serve in a variety of ways that could include: Sorting & processing through incoming donations Assisting on the sales floor, including straightening and organizing items or helping with online items and orders Communicate and engage with customers and other volunteers Volunteers who serve in this role should expect to: Stand and/or walk for duration of shift (accommodations for shorter shifts, less standing or less walking are available, see Resale Select Manager for details) May lift up to 50lbs. (if unable to lift, accommodations can be made for your own ability, see Resale Select staff for details)

Treasure Hunters work as a team to help sort through and process donations or assist with projects in our Resale store. Each week the IOCP Food Shelf serves 200+ households. The primary focus of this role is stock sort through incoming donations and stock the shelves, refrigerator, and freezer in preparation for the Food Shelf Distribution shift. This could involve checking dates, stocking shelves, repacking items, packing orders for home delivery, and helping staff when needed. This role requires following all safety guidelines required by Interfaith Outreach, be able to lift 20lbs, be able to stand/move/bend on cement for length of shift, be over 16, and be able to respectfully work with diverse populations.

Every week the Interfaith Outreach Food Shelf served 200+ households in our community. Food Shelf Shopper Assistants help program participants while they are shopping in the food shelf and help staff when needed during the shift. This could involve greeting shoppers, gathering items for shoppers, bagging items, restocking shelves, and answering questions. This role requires following all safety guidelines required by Interfaith Outreach, be able to stand/move/bend on cement for length of shift, be able to lift 20lbs, be over 18, and be able to respectfully work with diverse populations.

Help support both our Food Shelf and Resale Select store by greeting donors and accepting and organizing donations that keep our Food Shelf and Resale Select store shelves stocked. High school students are welcome. Interfaith Outreach's Mission: Strengthen our community by meeting basic needs and equipping individuals and families for ongoing stability.
