Kenosha Literacy Council

Founded in 1965, the Kenosha Literacy Council trains volunteer tutors to help adults in our community learn to read, write, and speak English. Literacy has proven to be a fundamental ingredient in building strong families, a good economy and a healthy community. The Kenosha Literacy Council is dedicated to improving literacy in Kenosha County and we need your help.

Mission Statement

VISION STATEMENT To help KLC's learners develop into literate citizens who are performing at their highest potential and contributing to their communities. MISSION STATEMENT To provide and promote literacy education in English to adults in Kenosha County with the assistance of trained volunteers.
