Volunteers at Passavant Retirement Community (PRC) help provide residents with an Abundant Life(R) while also enjoying being a part of this friendly community. PRC is located in the beautiful and historic town of Zelienople, PA. just 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. We are faith-based and non-profit and have served elders for over 100 years. Our community consists of more than 600 residents living on 42 beautiful acres in cottages, apartments, personal care apartments and nursing care.
Passavant Retirement Community is rated as a 4 -star nursing home by the Federal Government's Center for Medicare and Medicaid Studies. While we are proud of that rating, we are equally proud of the friendly community atmosphere of our retirement community.

Regardless of their level of independence, health or financial circumstances, we strive to help all seniors enjoy the richness and fullness of life. A vital element in carrying out this mission of Abundant Life TM is the volunteer from the outside community who comes to serve our elders.
