Who We Are:
Concerned and caring animal lovers who could not overlook that animals were being destroyed needlessly, established Alliance for Spay-Neuter & Pet Rescue in 2004. We are a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt, non-profit organization, operated by volunteers. The animals you see on this site are in or have come from the Monroe County Animal Control shelter in Monroe, M I
Mission Statement
*To help improve conditions at the Monroe County Animal Control shelter.
* Find a new loving family or an established/reputable rescue group to adopt/foster an animal and have that animal's best interest at heart.
* Educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter to control the pet population. It is the ONLY solution to reduce the number of unwanted/abandoned animals who are needlessly euthanized.
