Mission Statement

A Las Vegas-based organization, Red Rock Search and Rescue was formed in 2012 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity with an all-volunteer staff, servicing southern Nevada, portions of southern Utah, southeastern California, northern Arizona, and the Colorado River Communities.

Description

Empowered by community donationsand an all-volunteer staff, the team has over 100 members trained as first responders, emergency medical technicians, FCC-licensed radio operators, land navigation experts, forensic searchers, and disaster/crisis management personnel.

With a solid foundation of retired and current law enforcement, fire department, and military personnel; veteran hikers, offroad vehicle enthusiasts, medical technicians, and amateur radio operators, Red Rock Search and Rescue is a melting pot of critical skills, knowledge, and resources geared to assisting southern Nevada in an unmatched variety of areas:
