Asheville Homeless Network is, to date, the nation's only Membership Organization for the homeless. We work to provide information and opportunties for the area's homeless, and have meeting every week - Tuesday 2:00 pm at Firestorm Cafe on Commerce St. in Downtown Asheville. We have been working to provide supplies, clothing, and information. Our Community Resources Guide is recopied by the City Administration and most area Homeless Shelters and is available at many sites in the Asheville Downtown area.
Mission Statement
The Asheville Homeless Network is a coalition of homeless people, formerly homeless people, and their allies in the Asheville Area coming together for the purpose of identifying and providing information, advocacy and support about services in the areas of housing, food, and medical care, and other needs as identified.
