I have been dedicating my time at SCAN for almost a year now. I participate in the ABC's of Parenting Program. 3 cycles in and its refreshing each time. This program not only focus on the children but also on the parents. This programs teaches all involved how to better communicate and express ourselves in a constructive manner. Parents learn how to be leaders while creating an emotional bond with their children. It's beautiful at the end of every program to see the "light bulb" of parenting come on for the parents and the children receive the new ways joyfully. This program gives the tools to create the family environment needed.
