Mission Statement

Mission: Lifting Our Voices for Equality (LOVE) is committed to healing the GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans-gender and queer) community through the promotion of political, social, economic and religious equality. In the past several years, the L.O.V.E. Coalition has become aware of the increasing need for a housing shelter that would cater specifically to LGBTQ young adults. In response to the outcry from the LGBTQ community looking for a solution to the plight of homeless LGBTQ youth/young adults, we are looking to create the first 501(c)(3) run transitional homeless shelter specific to at-risk, homeless GLBTQ youth/ young adults ages 16-24

Description

We are a non-profit organization that works with the Gay, Bi, and Trans Community from the ages of 16 to 24 that helps through the Promotion of Political, Social, Economic and Religious Equality order to reach our goal, the L.O.V.E Coalition has recently implemented different programs to achieve the mission of the organization. Some of our highlighted programs are, job Readiness Program, which will expose our youth to financial literacy workshops, entrepreneurial skills that include Mock interviews, Resume Building, Dress for success.
