Description

The Everett Animal Shelter is an open admission shelter serving the City of Everett as well as much of Snohomish County. Each year, the shelter takes in nearly 9,000 animals including dogs, cats and small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. Volunteers are an integral part of our work to provide care to and find new homes for these homeless animals. Anyone who is an animal lover and who wants to make the world a more humane place would benefit from the opportunity to provide hands-on care to the animals both in and out of the shelter, and to help spread the word about the wonderful animals at the shelter who are awaiting adoption.
