The Southeastern Railway Museum is the official State of Georgia Transportation History Museum. The museum has two primary exhibit buildings, including a large climate controlled exhibit hall for display of transportation history artifacts, a library, gift shop and audio visual room. We have a large shop for the preservation, and restoration of our collection. Our railroad collection includes over 80 railroad cars, automobiles, buses, and taxis. The museum operates a train ride on historic cabooses and an historic Park Train ride for visitors. The museum has space available for rent for private parties and meetings and other special events.

The Southeastern Railway Museum is primarily staffed by volunteers. Our postings only show some our immediate needs for volunteers. We are always actively seeking additional volunteers to join us in many areas. We welcome any talents you may bring to share with us.
