Description

SCCMOD is a children's museum serving children from birth to 12 years of age with exciting hands-on exhibits and classes. We will hold classes for older children as well. Our overall theme is the wonders of Santa Cruz County and we feature various themed areas related to Santa Cruz County in our exhibit spaces. Areas covered are the marine environement in particular weather, sailing and sustainable fishing; the redwood forest includes camping, creatures of the forest; agriculture including farm to table and bees and pollination; a theater area and a large baby and toddler exhibit area as well as many technology exhibits.
