Description

HEART is a Houston-based program of the 501(c)(3) charitable organization Educational Programs Inspiring Communities, Inc. which was founded in 2002. HEART received its initial funding in 2005 and opened its doors February 1, 2006 to a training program for vending machines and concessions. The organization has a dba for HEART Vending and Concessions and operates 70 vending machines in the Houston area as well as over 150 concession events annually. Trainees from the HEART Program work at all of these enterprises and earn paychecks at minimum wage or higher for their hard work!
