To provide a free Emergency Ambulance service to the residents of Whitestone, Malba, Beechurst.

Description

From the moment we began operation in 1947 we have been a 100% FREE all volunteer Service. No one in our service is paid for their time or service and we survive exclusively via donations which have become scarce. If you would like this FREE service to continue to service you and your friends and family please help us.

The Whitestone Community Volunteer Ambulance Service was established in 1947 and became an active community service in 1948. For almost seven decades, we have grown and evolved with this community and the growing emergency medical service industry. We provide a free basic life support ambulance to all of whitestone. We respond to medical emergencies when out 24 hour hotline is called and we are also an active participant in the FDNY’s 911 network. Whitestone resident also borrow walkers canes, wheelchairs and crutches at no charge. Whitestone ambulance also hosts annual blood drives and other events for the community.

We will continue these tradition for generations to come.
