Mission Statement

The Coming Home Project provides a range of free services to Iraq and Afghanistan service members, veterans, and their families to help them cope with the stresses of pre-deployment, deployment, and returning home.

The Coming Home project consists of veterans, experienced trauma therapists , and interfaith leaders who are committed to easing the wounds of war.

Our programs help ease the feelings of isolation, loss, powerlessness, and anger by developing a welcoming community where veterans and family members can share experiences, learn innovative new tools to manage stress, and create support networks.

Description

We offer free support and stress management workshops and retreats; free, confidential psychological counseling; training for care providers; and community forums that bring tegether veterans and the general public.

We welcome everyone regardless of gender and religious or political belief.

Because they have serve and protect our country with pride. To make great sacrifice along with their loved ones sadly some women n men never had the chance to see their children grow. To help give their families live n harmony for their service.
