Meals-on-Wheels Drivers

Senior Services needs volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious meals to older adults enrolled in our Meals-on-Wheels program. Volunteer opportunities are flexible. Deliver any day, Monday through Friday, between 9:45 am and noon, once per week, once per month, or anything in between. Delivery routes take about 90 minutes. Friendly Home Visits

Senior Services is looking for caring individuals who have experience working with older adults to visit homebound seniors in Forsyth County. Volunteers will be matched with a participant and will make regular visits to create a meaningful connection through conversation. Call Connections

Volunteers will be assigned to a program participant to call regular basis and create meaningful connections through conversation. Volunteer should be able to convey empathy, listen and communicate with a non-judgmental attitude, interact with a diverse array of participants, and work independently. Willams Adult Day Center Check In/Out and Lunch Services Volunteer

The Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center provides a safe, fun and structured day program that brings meaning and friendship to people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Volunteers are needed to greet and welcome Williams Day Center participants, assist with passing out lunch and clean up, and assisting participants when it is time for them to return home.
