The Nursing Home and Hospital Ministry of Care-A-Lot conducts weekly visits to those residing in nursing homes as well as frequent visits to individuals who have to experience extended stays in the hospital. Our mission is to spread the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in the nursing home and hospital environment, while providing support and encouragement.
The Prison Ministry of Care-A-Lot brings love and compassion through church services to inmates that are in correctional facilities throughoutGeorgia on a bi-monthly basis. The ministry offers group and individual counseling as well as encouragement through written correspondence. It is our mission to provide spiritual and motivational resources and special events that will transform the lives of offenders.
Care-A-Lot Food Pantry and Kitchen mission is to increase the availability of food for hungry people. We provide nutritious, free food to families and individuals that can not afford to buy groceries as well as offer free dinner once a week. We are dedicated to reducing the number of hungry children and adults all while serving hope, respect and integrity.
Care-A-Lot Missionary Team will go out into the community to do ministries of service and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Missionaries must be born again Christians and lead by the Holy Spirit when witnessing. The team will also inform the community of the outreaches Care-A-Lot carry out and offer support where needed.
Care-A-Lot Thrift Store offer new and used merchandise at affordable prices in an organized, department store-style setting for easy and pleasant shopping. All merchandise is donated by individuals and organizations which enable us to provide a wide array of items from clothing, house wares, furniture, tools, electronics, books and more. All funds are used to operate the programs of Care-A-Lot Incorporated.
The Care-A-Lot Voucher Program offer families with children merchandise such as bed and living room sets, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves and other household items and appliances that they may be in need of, all which is distributed through Care-A-Lot Thrift Store. The program also offers emergency cash assistance to families that are in need.
CARE-A-LOT QUARTERLY OUTREACHES
First Quarter
Care Day is an annual event where we will give out backpacks to the homeless filled with personal and food items. Clothing, food, drinks, and spiritual uplifting will be available to people from all walks of life.
Second Quarter
Care Tent Give Away is an annual event where we will give tents to the homeless to help shelter them until better living conditions arises. Food drinks, and spiritual uplifting will also be available to people from all walks of life.
Third Quarter
Care Shoes and Socks Give Away will be an annual event where we will help clothe the feet of the homeless. Food drinks, and spiritual uplifting will also be available to people from all walks of life.
Fourth Quarter
Care Winter Give Away is an annual event where coats, hats, scarves and gloves will be given to the homeless. Food drinks, and spiritual uplifting will also be available to people from all walks of life.
