Mission Statement

Saving The Animals Together is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from Jackson Madison County TN Rabies Control/Small Animal Shelter as well as animals at risk of being impounded. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.

Description

Saving The Animals Together is an animal welfare advocacy group as well as an active foster based rescue. We concentrete on homeless and abandoned animals in our county. We also offer low cost microchipping to the public.

Great organization. We have worked with them on several fundraisers and they are great. Dog are loved and well cared for and they do their best to find them a forever home. Events would not be as successful without their help and participation.

As a founding board member I knew what I felt had been lacking in volunteering I had done in the past. I knew that as a volunteer I wanted to feel valued and I wanted my input to be considered. We strive every day to keep developing our volunteer program to make sure our volunteers know that they are a crucial member of the team. No matter how large or small their volunteer contribution, we know that volunteering is sacrifice and we want that sacrifice of time to be well spent.
