To impact the lives of young people in the Greater Houston Area by providing learning facilities and educational opportunities that build character, instill life-enhancing values, andpromote healthy choices through the game of golf.

Description

The First Tee is an international youth development program that teaches young people ages 7-18 the game of golf and the intrinsic values that will help them become successful in life and have a love for golf. We promote The First Tee Nine Core Values: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, confidence, courtesy, perseverance, and judgment; and the Nine Healthy Habits: energy, play, safety, vision, mind, family, friends, school, and community.

The First Tee develops character, life skills and healthy habits while providing a fun, activity-based program for young people as they learn about the game of golf.
