The Ashram is a great place to work and very supportive of their volunteers and never ask too much. They are very collaborative with their volunteers which made me feel like I was making a worthwhile contribution to their organization.

I have been volunteering at Desert Ashram for almost two years now. No matter how busy my schedule gets, I always try my best to come in at least biweekly because the Ashram and the people who care for the Ashram are the kindest and most knowledgable people I have ever met. Even though the Ashram is out of the way from where I am located, it is always worth the trip whether I am helping in the kitchen, visiting the temple, or tending to the gardens/outdoor area. I would recommend Desert Ashram to all those young and old who would like a flexible volunteer place filled with love and peace of mind.
