The Indianapolis Sister Cities International program promotes international awareness and understanding through cultural, educational, civic, and business engagement and exchange with our international partner cities by empowering private citizens, municipal officials, community leaders, business, and academia to serve as citizen diplomats and global advocates.

The Sister City program is one key dimension which promotes Indianapolis as a global city in today’s world economy, advancing cultural understanding, developing global connections, strengthening international partnerships and stimulating economic development.
